Welcome to the Weird Wonder that is the World of Willow Andreasson...

... on this afternoon's show:

Today, this Station is in mourning for a beautiful member of our Family - Dr. Robin Falkov - who has sadly passed away; during the first hour, I will be remembering the amazing light that is our friend, Robin, who hosted our morning flagship show, 'Event Horizons', for six years. She was also host of Wednesday evening's 'What They Do Not Want You To Know' for 2 years. I will also focus on the day's world news headlines;

The second hour heralds the opening of the doors to the cosy nook that is Willow's Poetry Corner: the Poetry Corner commences an unnerving journey through a future Britain - a dystopian Britain scarred by anarchy, poverty and paranoia - in which all is not as it seems. I introduce you to a quiet classic, Nigel Kneale's unsettling 1979 opus, 'Quatermass'; tonight's extended visit to the Poetry Corner focuses on the introduction and prologue of the book, after which we start to see the horrors unfolding in the first chapter;

The comfy cushions are scattered liberally across the deep-pile hearth rugs... the sweet scent of sandalwood serenades the senses as the logs smoulder on the open fire... the teas and coffees are freshly brewing... and I welcome you into my humble yet peaceful abode.
