Welcome to the Weird Wonder that is the World of Willow Andreasson...
... on this afternoon's show:
The first hour will focus on the day's world news and geek headlines;
The second hour heralds the opening of the doors to the cosy nook that is Willow's Poetry Corner: the Poetry Corner continues its unnerving journey through a future Britain - a dystopian Britain scarred by anarchy, poverty and paranoia - in which all is not as it seems; A change of leader coincides with the mass gathering at Wembley Stadium, while tragedy strikes the Professor, in tonight's haunting final instalment of the twelfth chapter of Nigel Kneale's unsettling 1979 opus, 'Quatermass';
We then explore a variety of topics from various walks of life: From Time Travel theories and the struggles faced by those still living with the scars left by Hurricane Michael, we also look at a species of bird that appears to have risen from the dead. Finally, I tell a cautionary story which reminds one that common sense is sorely lacking in this world;
The comfy cushions are scattered liberally across the deep-pile hearth rugs... the sweet scent of sandalwood serenades the senses as the warm spring breeze kisses the skin as it whispers through the open window... the teas and coffees are freshly brewing... and I welcome you into my humble yet peaceful abode.
