Welcome to the Weird Wonder that is the World of Willow Andreasson...
... on this afternoon's show:
The first hour will focus on the day's world news and geek headlines;
The second hour heralds the opening of the doors to the cosy nook that is Willow's Poetry Corner: the Poetry Corner continues its unnerving journey through a future Britain - a dystopian Britain scarred by anarchy, poverty and paranoia - in which all is not as it seems; As the Doctor's wife continues trying to heal the terrified child survivor of the Ringstone Road event, District Commissioner Annie Morgan arrives at the Observatory - and she is seeking Professor Quatermass - in tonight's second instalment of the sixth chapter of Nigel Kneale's unsettling 1979 opus, 'Quatermass';
The remainder of the show sees a trip to Willow's Earth Sciences Laboratory: the continued degradation of Antarctic glaciers, new views of the Southern Ocean's geological features and the pinpointing of the new position of Magnetic North for Smartphones, are today's curious articles of a geologic and magnetic nature;
The comfy cushions are scattered liberally across the deep-pile hearth rugs... the sweet scent of sandalwood serenades the senses as the logs smoulder on the open fire... the teas and coffees are freshly brewing... and I welcome you into my humble yet peaceful abode.
